Is Nara Park Free?

Nara Park is free to enter if you just want to walk the park and see the famous Nara deer. It’s a public space, open to everyone.

But if you want to visit some of the many attractions at Nara Park, such as temples and museums, you will have to pay admission fees. Each attraction has its own roster of fees if it is one of the fee-based attractions at Nara Park.
